October frosts and chilly winds are here and with them come the toothy grins of the jack-o-lantern. Excitement hangs in the air for children, teenagers and adults alike and even the grandparents are sprightly enough to join the fun. It is not long to wait for Christmas now, but the autumnal daze brings its own eerie fun to homes, schools, malls and restaurants. One will hardly know the streets as they are painted not red, but orange and black with anticipation. What are your Halloween Ideas?

Everyone has some plans for Halloween. As the little sally forth in their costumes trick or treating the neighborhood and comparing notes on their loot, the little ones bring smiles and terror commingled to their parents; while the older ones skim through parties and get-togethers. Halloween ideas range from sassy to surreal, funny to freakish, but one thing they are not is ‘subtle’.

As has been the tradition, young and old dress up, step up and romp up and storm and you would like to have something new to do this year, before you settle down for striped candy canes for Christmas. You have probably tried the haunted house theme before. If you haven’t, do it this time and get some of your more resourceful friends to draw up plans for you. Keep the theme neutral if you plan to involve children, but if you have only adult friends, you can up the ‘eerie’ factor.
